Critical worker children
The Department for Education (DfE) updated its guidance for critical workers on Friday evening, and advised parents and carers of children who are eligible for a school place that they should keep them at home if at all possible. 'parents and carers should keep their children at home if they can,' the DfE guidance now states.
A DfE spokesperson said on Friday, “If critical workers can work from home and look after their children at the same time then they should do so, but otherwise this provision is in place to enable them to provide vital services".
If you have no other option, but to send your child in, please only do so on the days you have no other choice. The fewer children who are mixing together at school, the safer the children and staff are, and their wider families.
Keep safe, look after each other.
