Welcome to Year 1 Bears class!

Miss Townsend is the class teacher. We are helped by Mrs Halsall and Mrs Ormerod. Mrs Halsall teaches us on a Wednesday morning.

  Hello, My name is Miss Townsend!   Hello, I am Mrs Halsall.   Hello, I am Mrs Ormerod. 

Our PE days are on Tuesday and Friday. Children will need to be brought to school in their PE kits.  

Reading and homework books will be checked/changed on a Monday morning. Our spelling test is on a Friday and our new spellings are also handed out on a Friday. Please bring your reading book into school each day. Remember to keep re-reading your book to develop fluency and comprehension, even if it is just for five minutes each night. Every little helps!
