Welcome to Year 1 Bears class!

Meet the Year 1 team

Mrs Whitwell is the class teacher. We are helped by Mrs Halsall, Miss Taylor and Mrs Haydock. Mrs Halsall teaches us on a Friday morning.

  Hello, My name is Mrs Whitwell!   Hello, I am Mrs Halsall.   Hello, I am Miss Taylor. Hello, I'm Mrs Haydock. 

Our PE days are on Monday and Tuesday. Children need to leave their PE kits in school and get changed in class.

Reading and homework books will be checked/changed on a Monday morning.  Please bring your reading book into school every day. Remember to keep re-reading your book to develop fluency and comprehension, even if it is just for five minutes each night. Every little helps!
