Spellings
Every week, children are given a small list of spelling words to learn. These will be linked with their weekly phonics learning and contain a common sound or be common exception words (words with no phonic patterns).
Please help your child learn the spelling of the words for a short test each Friday. This helps children embed their phonics learning even further.
We use the strategy above to help us remember our spelling words.
